Our Nationwide Children’s Hospital Director of Sports Performance, Kirk Sabalka, has designed home workouts for our Bobcat student-athletes.  We will post these daily.  Go Cats!  Stay healthy and safe.

Day 1 – Monday 3/23/20

Wall sit 1 x max time

  • until you collapse
  • Squat Stance
  • Keep Heels under knees (don’t reach the feet forward and cheat)
  • Use some kind of weight to make harder if needed

Wall Sit 3 x Good Burn

  • Wide Stance if you want more hips
  • Close Stance if you want more quad
  • use same weight as first wall sit

Lying Hamstring Curl with household object between feet

x 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30

  • lower reps try to use heavier object higher reps lighter object
  • Keep toes pointed to the floor as much as possible with object being used
