The Grandview Boys HS XC team placed 2nd at the District meet Saturday. The team was led by Derek Amicon, who also defended his District Champ title from last year (1st, 16:19). He was followed by a strong succession of teammates, including Denison Murphy (3rd, 17:08), Noah Curfman (12th, 18:18), and Ian Matney (15th, 18:31). Matney also achieved a personal best. PJ Tingler (34th, 19:58), Brady Long (47th, 21:38) and Meeka Reese (49th, 21:52) rounded out the Varsity squad. They advance as a team to the Regional meet, October 31st where the Top 5 teams and top 20 individuals will advance to the State Meet.
