Despite a 4-run deficit in the fourth inning, Grandview Heights Bobcats Varsity almost came all the way back, eventually falling 5-4 to Franklin Heights on Saturday. Grandview Heights Bobcats Varsity managed four runs in the failed comeback. Jackson Larson, Johnny Clark, and Jake Zimmerman all picked up RBIs in the rally.
Grandview Heights Bobcats Varsity fell behind early in the loss. Franklin Heights scored on a single by Boyd and a single by Unverferth in the first inning. In the first inning, Franklin Heights got their offense started when Boyd singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
