The Grandview Girls HS XC team placed 2nd at the District meet Saturday. The team was led by Maddie Palmisciano, (5th, 20:53). She was followed by teammates Greta Tew (13th, 21:32), Nina Brown (17th, 22:02), and Jillian Curfman (24th, 22:36). The Varsity squad was rounded out by Eleanor Kukura (32nd, 23:13) and Sosi Mahdasian (33rd, 23:29) who both showed strong kicks at the end of the race. They advance as a team to the Regional meet, October 31st where the Top 5 teams and top 20 individuals will advance to the State Meet.
