Gavin Van Horn didn’t allow a single run against Worthington Christian, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Grandview Heights Bobcats to a 10-0 victory on Wednesday

In the first inning, Grandview Heights Bobcats got their offense started when Jon Micah Griffith singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run. Grandview Heights Bobcats secured the victory thanks to six runs in the sixth inning. Grandview Heights Bobcats’s offense in the inning came from a walk by Sam Amurgis, a triple by Glenn Cribbs, an error on a ball put in play by Van Horn, and a double by Joey Bertani.

Van Horn earned the win for Grandview Heights Bobcats. He went seven innings, allowing zero runs on four hits and striking out eight.

Sewall took the loss for Worthington Christian. He allowed two hits and two runs over five innings, striking out 11.
