Grandview Heights Varsity Bobcats Roll Past Granville Christian Academy Varsity Lions

Grandview Heights Varsity Bobcats dispatched Granville Christian Academy Varsity Lions on Monday, 12-2.

Grandview Heights Varsity Bobcats jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Beckett Joubert was hit by a pitch, driving in a run, Landon Roberts was hit by a pitch, driving in a run, Zach Loy doubled, scoring three runs, and Grant Gambone  hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Grandview Heights Varsity Bobcats added five more runs in the bottom of the third inning on six hits. Joubert hit a solo home run to left field, Loy tripled, scoring one run, Sam Bandy singled, scoring one run, and Kinny Wilson singled, scoring two runs.

Wilson earned the win for Grandview Heights Varsity Bobcats. The hurler surrendered six hits and two runs (zero earned) over five innings, striking out one and walking one. Geiger took the loss for Granville Christian Academy Varsity Lions. The starting pitcher went three innings, giving up 11 runs on 10 hits, striking out three and walking one.
